During my last visit to California I got to shoot a couple lovely families. Here are some highlights from the Margrave family shoot. We had a great time with the kids and enjoyed the warm weather.

Not too long ago, I got to work with my sister on a photoshoot. We were looking to get a variety of headshots for her. She is a talented young dancer, actor, singer etc and is looking forward to a promising career in the industry. We found a great location behind some stores in Studio City.. Here are some highlights from that shoot!

Series, Untitled

I recently began a series that I want to expand on.. not sure what or if I should title it. Basically consists of headshots, shot in a similar format, of people I know or am familiar with. The cropping and shallow depth of field is meant to draw your attention to the drastic varieties of people’s faces.. My favorite part of this process has been the experience of taking photographs of different people, letting lighting and subtle differences show through, their natural reactions, and the tension it creates.
